Future Generations Health Care Foundation

Ensuring the Future of Our Local Health Care

The Future Generations Health Care Foundation can be described as the hospital's "savings account." Butler County Health Care Center does not use any tax dollars for its operations. With the many changes we face in health care today, The Foundation exists to assist the hospital.

The Wall of Honor
wall of honor Along the corridor, in the west lobby of the hospital, is a handsome Wall of Honor. Here the names of those persons who have generously supported the hospital are inscribed in perpetuity. The Wall of Honor bears the names of donors who have made a commitment to ensure local health care for years to come. Either through a gift by will, a trust arrangement, life insurance, charitable gift annuity or an outright donation, these are the people who are making a difference in the lives of all we serve through their financial support.

The following are some popular giving options:

  • Cash Gifts
  • Gifts of Stock
  • Gifts of Real Estate
  • Life Income Gifts
  • Gifts of Life Insurance
  • Gifts by Will
  • Gifts in Memory or in Honor of a Loved One
  • Gifts of Personal Property
The type of gift or method of giving may require the assistance of your financial advisor. The Foundation may be able to provide you with additional ideas and considerations, but you may need professional assistance to carry out your wishes. We would be glad to provide any additional information and assistance upon your request.

The office of the Foundation is located inside the Butler County Health Care Center.

Annual Golf Tournament

Each year, the Foundation sponsors a charity golf tournament. Proceeds from past tournaments have helped to furnish the new outpatient waiting room, remodel the emergency room, redecorate the sunroom, purchase a new X-ray machine, and fund a newer transport ambulance for the hospital. The proceeds from this year's tournament will help fund the purchase of a treadmill and elliptical trainer for use by our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department and the Wellness Center.

Each year, vendors, friends, and colleagues of the hospital play a relaxed 18 holes of golf at the David City Golf Course. Event sponsors, team fees, and other promotions provide a fun way to assist the hospital and Foundation. We send a very heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors from 2006's tournament.

Our 2007 tournament will be Friday, June 8th. If you are interested in participating or sponsoring this event next year, please contact Ed Meysenburg at (402) 367-1370.
