Butler County Health Care Center employees participated in two giving events at the hospital during the month of November.  Both events benefited the Butler County Community.             

The TeamSTEPPS committee did a month long activity where employees visited five different locations within the facility.  At each location the employee donated a canned or boxed food item and participated in a trivia activity.   The food items were donated to Blue Valley to be dispersed to those in need this Holiday season.                                                                                         

The Dietary Department at Butler County Health Care Center hosted a raffle during Dietary Week to raise funds for hats and gloves for the local elementary schools.  The Dietary Department raised $198 which purchased 114 sets of hats and gloves for the children of David City Elementary, St. Mary’s Elementary, East Butler Elementary in Brainard and Dwight and Redeemer Luther Preschool.
