Butler County Health Care Center is actively responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check back regularly for the most accurate information. COVID-19 information may also be found on the hospital Facebook Page.
Butler County Health Care Center (BCHCC) will restrict entry into the facility of non-staff, non-patient members of the public when deemed necessary based on current COVID-19 activity in our area, input from the medical staff, administration and the COVID-19 response team.
Visitors exhibiting any signs or symptoms of Covid-19 are asked not to visit. Any visitor isolating due to a Covid-19 diagnosis are asked not to visit until out of CDC’s directed quarantine time.
BCHCC will use the CDC’s community COVID transmission data and levels of transmission to direct masking of visitors:
• When in low (blue), moderate (yellow), and substantial (orange) levels of transmission, masking is not required by visitors. Visitors may choose to mask at any time they wish to do so.
• When in high (red) levels of transmission, masking will be required by visitors at all times except when eating or drinking.
Patients placed in isolation will be allowed the following visitors:
• A family member of an actively dying patient
• One parent or guardian of a minor patient
• A priest to provide Last Rites to a dying patient
Exceptions to these policies may be made on an individual basis for extenuating circumstances.
There is no mask requirement at this time for members of the Wellness Center or Downtown Fitness while exercising.
